Nancy is a graduate of the New York City School of
Applied Design. She worked in New York City for 20 years in
the textile business. After retiring she moved to South
Carolina in 1979. When she first moved to South Carolina her
furniture did not arrive for days. She was sleeping on the
floor in an empty apartment lying awake at night wondering
what she was going to do. She joined the local Art league
just to have someone to talk to. This was the beginning of
pursuing art as a hobby rather than as a professional
person. Nancy's work has been featured in many art shows
including the "Hot Dog, Cool Cat" art exhibit. She also does
dog portraits; personalized of your own pet.
