Betty Mozelle Brown was born in Monroe Georgia in 1950.
She was the youngest of 6 children and a Daddy's girl!
Betty's mother was a mill worker, and her father was a
farmer, so he was her sitter. Her father passed when she was
9 and all was different. Betty completed 10 years of school
but got her G.E.D. in 1992. She married at 17 and had 3
children and 6 grand children. Betty is now retired because
of a disability but she had her own wallpaper business for
21 years and she also worked in special education and has a
nursing assistant certificate. In 1995 she was in a car
accident and was laid up for a while and that's when she
started to paint. Her paintings are colorful and full of
life.
