Diana San Lorenzo Campbell was born in Spain but growing up spent may years in England and them moved around the world until she finally settled down in Maryland. She began painting 10 years ago as a way of expressing dreams and emotions. She wanted to create images that would reflect optimism, joyfulness and bring a smile to most. She wanted to cheer up the world with her paintings. She is self taught but always received encouragement from her family. She works in watercolor, bits of origami paper (that she makes), acrylics, oils and anything that is bright and shiny. She has a wonderful husband and two lovely children that provide her with tons of inspiration. Her art has kept her going in the hard times and is essential part of her life.
